Summer 2027 Disbursements
Paid in one disbursement, based on the start date of your first class. Students receive only one payment, with no later adjustments.

The calendar shows the first and second Pell Grant disbursements, along with the first Cal Grant and Loan disbursements. After that, additional
disbursements are processed about every three weeks for students who become eligible after the Award Calculation Dates.
1 To receive payment on a listed Disbursement Date, you must have received your award notification email by the deadline shown.
2 Your disbursement is based on the number of units you are enrolled (non-waitlisted) in before this date, including classes that start within 10 days

Pell Grant funds are paid twice each fall and spring and once in summer if you qualify.

Your award is based on your enrollment, including classes starting within 10 days of the Award Calculation Date.

Pell is recalculated on 10/19/2026 for fall and 03/22/2027 for spring.

Dropping classes on or before these dates may reduce your award and could result in an overpayment.

Classes added on or after the second Award Calculation Date do not count, and if your first Pell payment is after this date, it will be based only on your enrollment at that time.

If you withdraw from all classes before completing 60% of the semester, federal rules may require you to repay aid.

For full-semester classes, the 60% dates are 10/30/2026 (fall) and 04/09/2027 (spring); for less than full-term classes, the date depends on your specific enrollment period.

Cal Grant requires at least six units, and the award is prorated based on your enrollment prior to the Award Calculation Date and is not available during the summer.

FSEOG and Direct Loans also require six or more units, while the Student Success Completion Grant requires twelve or more.

All amounts are determined by your enrollment prior to the Award Calculation Date each semester.

The college must receive a valid, processed FAFSA/CADAA by the last day of the last semester that the student is enrolled. Students must submit all required documentation by the Final Documentation Deadline.
