This national program鈥攐ffered by the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU)鈥攚as created to support and advance emerging leaders at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) across the country. Participants are chosen for their proven commitment to equity, access, and student success in higher education.

Monique is a proud community college graduate who brings over a decade of experience supporting student success and institutional transformation. Her work has included launching early college programs, designing culturally responsive professional development, and managing grants that serve first-generation and Latine students.
She began her educational journey at Skyline College before earning her bachelor鈥檚 degree at San Francisco State University and her M.A. in Counseling at Saint Mary鈥檚 College of California. She鈥檚 also a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist鈥攁 role that reflects her deeply student-centered and holistic approach to leadership.
